Entry for December 6, 2007
We just finished the last show of our season and it was ok, we meet a really awesome gal who gave us some amazing information. I think that with her help we will be able to start getting into the jurried art festivals!! The sooner that this happens the sooner I am able to quit my "big girl" job and do what I love full time. It will also allow me to be at home with my kids more, and a lot less stressed! I know that David would love that!! We also just had the first snow of the season and it has been beautiful for the last two days. Well as my mom always says: "Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat." It is time to start the crazyness that is Christmas shopping! Wouldn't it be nice if for just a little bit, we (as adults) forgot about all of the rushing around and just remembered the true joy of this season? I was woken up by my daughter yesterday morning and she was just SO EXCITED about the snow. I do miss having that true joy!
